Courtney Dang
Head Coach, The University of Central Florida
Joyce, Head Coach of the UCF Dance Team brings over 35 years of experience in the entertainment industry as a performer, choreographer, educator, and coach. She began her career as a “Kid of the Kingdom”, securing her first professional Equity job at Walt Disney World. Throughout her career, she toured with Bob Hope’s USO troupe, performed at Tokyo Disney, aboard a Cruise Ship, and appeared in industries for major brands like Toyota, Coca-Cola and Amway. Her performance credits also include commercial work for Sony and Sopporo Beer as well as a professional NFL dancer for the Jacksonville Jaguars and one of their field
Choreographers. Joyce recently completed her 5th year at UCF where she has led the dance team to significant competitive success. Her team has placed in the Top 5 in D1A Hip Hop at UDA nationals for three consecutive years. Additionally, they medaled for the first time in program history in 2025.
In addition to competitive achievements, Joyce has created exceptional performance opportunities for her dancers as well. The team was featured in Disney’s televised Christmas Spectacular performing Joyce's choreography alongside Julianne Hough. They also had the opportunity to work with renowned industry professionals Mandy Moore and Tessandra Chavez. Beyond her role at UCF, Joyce continues to teach master classes across the U.S. and set choreography for NFL and NBA dance teams. She also a respected adjudicator for both studio
and dance team competitions.

Courtney Dang
University of Cincinnati Head Coach
Courtney Dang, originally from Oak Ridge, Tennessee, attended the University of Cincinnati where she studied Information Technology. Dang danced for five years and served as captain for two of those seasons. While at UC, she earned three D1A hip hop national championships and five world championships representing the U.S. National Team.
Courtney Dang has been consulting the University of Cincinnati's national routines since 2016 along with local studios and high school and college dance teams. She's also won an innovative choreography award and first place finish at the 2022 NDA High School Nationals in the Medium Varsity Game Day division.
After graduation, she coached a local high school team. She spent six years coaching at several Cincinnati‑area high schools including Anderson, Turpin, and Kings where she developed athletes, elevated program standards, and contributed to competitive success. She choreographed and coached the routine that secured Kings High School’s first‑ever national championship, winning the 2022 NDA Nationals Medium Game Day title. She become an assistant coach for the University of Cincinnati Dance Team. In 2024, she took on the role of head coach, continuing to inspire and connect with dancers across the country. As a former University of Cincinnati athlete, Dang is a three‑time D1A Hip Hop National Champion (2014, 2015, 2017). She's earned five World Championships in Pom and Hip Hop as a member of the U.S. National Team (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016). Recently with the University of Cincinnati Dance Team, they earned 4th place in both D1A Pom and D1A Game Day, and 3rd place in D1A Hip Hop. The program has also been selected to represent the United States as the U.S. National Team for Hip Hop this April.

Franco Paraiso
University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) Assistant Coach
Franco Paraiso is a professional independent choreographer and dance teacher from Las Vegas, NV.
In the past 9 seasons with the UNLV Rebel Girls & Company, he has won 5 D1A Hip Hop UDA National Championships, 7 D1A Game Day UDA National Championships, and 3 Premier Hip Hop ICU World Championships.
As a hip hop and game day choreographer, he has claimed top 3 finishes at NDTC with St. Joseph’s Academy and Bearden High School, and a DTU National Championship with Miami Arts.
If he is not teaching a class, or filming his next project, you can probably find him dancing in the kitchen with his wife and dog.
